The Monza is a hand-woven wool and viscose rug with a plain surface and a refined low pile , a collection where the fibre blend itself is the design feature. The 50/50 proportion of wool and viscose produces a surface quality that is both warm and luminous in equal measure. Crafted in India from 50% wool and 50% viscose, the Monza represents a deliberate balance between two complementary fibres. Wool provides the structure, resilience, and natural warmth that anchor the rug's performance; viscose , at this proportion , introduces a level of sheen and softness that genuinely elevates the surface beyond what either fibre achieves alone. The result is a plain rug that looks expensive: its tonal depth and subtle light response give it a quiet presence on the floor that rewards attention. The Monza suits interiors that are themselves built around quality of finish , polished concrete floors, lacquered cabinetry, natural stone surfaces, and high-specification upholstery all benefit from a rug that contributes material richness rather than visual noise. Available in tonal colourways that complement both warm and cool interior palettes. Compatible with underfloor heating. Cotton backing. Note: the high viscose content makes the Monza more delicate than pure wool alternatives , vacuum with a smooth nozzle only, and seek professional dry cleaning for maintenance.
