The Bolsena Grey is a hand-tufted pure wool rug with a carved high-pile surface, its dimensional texture bringing depth and tactile interest to contemporary living rooms, bedrooms, and open-plan spaces. The grey colourway keeps the look grounded and modern without sacrificing warmth. Crafted from 100% wool using a hand-tufting technique, the Bolsena achieves its characteristic high-low relief through careful carving of the pile after tufting. This process creates a surface that is both visually dynamic and physically engaging, with raised and recessed areas that shift in appearance as light moves through the room. Grey is a strong colourway for the Bolsena, lending the rug a quiet authority that works across contemporary, Scandi-influenced, and urban interior styles. It pairs well with darker furniture, concrete or stone floors, and interiors built around cool, restrained palettes, while still bringing the natural warmth that only wool can provide.
